Summary:

Also, in this module, human variance was introduced as it relates to the "human-side" of the Human Factors Interaction Model.  Statistical methods used to measure human variance were briefly covered and examples provided using anthropometrics and biomechanics.  An understanding of these basic principles will facilitate comprehension of the material presented in the remainder of this course.  It will also foster an appreciation of the importance of considering human differences during product or system design.

It is recommended that you study the remaining modules in the order in which they are presented.  If you must stop before you have completed a module, bookmark the page so that you can easily return to it when you are ready to complete that module.
