Gathering and Compiling Data

Once we have gathered the data from our sample, we can visually inspect and analyze it with statistical methods.  Recall, that one of the human capabilities is to easily draw inferences from graphical or pictorial information.  So, we will convert our data to a frequency table that is then plotted as a frequency distribution diagram.  This will enable us to look for data tendencies and perform some basic statistical calculations.
