Frequently Asked Questions

 

To view a project:

  1. click Project located at the top center of the page
  2. Choose criteria from the multiple drop down boxes, list box or search text to return results
  3. If you choose criteria from more than one drop down box, the criteria is joined together using the AND statement. For example, if you choose a Principal Investigator named Baker and a Program Manager named Able, you will see only records that have both criteria.
  4. When selecting keywords, you can select one or more. To select multiple keywords that are not grouped next to each other, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting. To select keywords grouped next to each other, select the first keyword, then hold down the Shift key and select the last keyword. Choose the AND or OR operator after the keywords to search for projects that have either all the keywords selected, or have at least one of the keywords selected.
  5. To search for words various text areas, enter the search terms in the Search Text box. Select the field that you want to search by selecting it in the Search in Field section.
  6. After you have selected the criteria, press the Search button and the results will be returned below.
  7. Clicking on a project's title in the search results will cause a new window to open with the details of the projects shown.
  8. To start a new search and reset the criteria, click on the Start New Search hyperlink.
